We can help with treating difficult to cut nails, in-grown toe nails, thickened nails, cracked heels, corns and callus affecting young and old.

Verruca Treatment (Warts)

Verruca treatment can differ from person to person, depending on the size, location and how long a verruca has been present. Footprints Podiatry has the latest, scientifically proven, Swift Microwave Treatment for verruca. 

Sports Injuries

A Biomechanical Assessment will be completed to assess your Knee Pain, Ankle Pain, Shin Pain, Foot Pain, Heel Pain, Arch Pain and/or Forefoot pain.  We have the latest in Computerised Video Gait Analysis and Force Scan Technology to assist in your diagnosis. 

Orthotics

These are in-shoe devices used to modify the foot’s abnormal gait patterns to provide a structural solution to musculoskeletal problems.  They are used to control, guide, limit and/or immobilise a joint, to aid in rehabilitation or to reduce weight bearing forces to reduce pain and discomfort.  Footprints Podiatry offers a range of solutions, utilising the latest in orthotic technology from 3D Orthotics, the only fully CADCAM manufactured orthotics in New Zealand.

Children's Gait Problems

Are my child's feet and development normal?  We can help with concerns regarding flat feet, Growing Pains, In-toe or Out-toe gait abnormalities, Severs Disease and Osgood Schlatters.

Footwear Advice

Our podiatrist’s are happy to help with the selection of footwear for your sports, school, work or casual needs.  We work with the leading suppliers of footwear in Christchurch to see that you are always comfortable in your daily activities.

Surgery

Our podiatrists are qualified to deliver both In-grown Toe Nail Surgery and Verruca Surgery.    

Diabetes

Footprints Podiatry is a member of the Pegasus Diabetes Scheme, and with a referral from your GP, can care for your Diabetic foot problems.  Of course, we also see diabetic patients without a referral and are happy to liaise with your GP to see if the scheme is right for you.

ACC

Footprints Podiatry is an ACC Approved Orthotic Provider.  This means that for qualifying ACC claims, Footprints Podiatry is able to offer ACC Funded orthotics, braces and supports, and/or footwear.
